This is Not Ok With Me: Spider Rain in Argentina

April 29th 2010 14:46

This photo, taken on April 6th, 2007, is a mind-blowing horrifying image which has officially ruined my life forever. This "spider rain" photographed by Christian Oneto Gaona while on a trip to Argentina is one of the first photographs of this strange phenomena.

Other rains such as this have been reported all over the world, but it's not just spiders that have fallen from the sky. Frogs, fish and other odd animals have been seen as well. No one thus far has been able to explain these rains, and quiet honestly, I don't care why they are happening. A spider on my bathroom wall is not acceptable, and is enough to send me screaming like a banshee. Spiders falling from the sky is enough to send me to a psych ward.

Holy **** - another reason for me to stay inside and fear the world - I think if this happened while I was outdoors I would just have to kill myself to deal with it hahahahaha

Oh crap - it's just started raining outside too - this is NOT FAIR!!!!

Oh.my.god. This is a nightmare that has become reality! I would actually vomit on the spot if I were there at the time. Thanks for sharing though, interesting story!

Hmm, maybe these types of abnormal rains were caused by the rapidly changing of weather? Should we blame it on the weatherman?

This has to be a joke. The fish and frog rains were accounted for by storms picking up masses of frogs or schools of fish in a waterspout into the clouds where they eventually fell from the sky. It is highly unlikely there is anyplace that has masses of spiders all in one place to be picked up and then transported in a storm.
