I Hope You Learned Your Lesson, Apple: iPad with Wi-Fi 3G Sales Disappointing
May 5th 2010 15:23
As most of you have probably guessed from my multiple Apple related posts, I am an Apple user. This site is brought to you courtesy of a beautiful MacBook Pro. I am a PC hater, and I do not care how much gaming I am missing out on because of it. However, I am very disappointed with the iPad, and despite Steve Jobs' use of the word 'revolutionary' every other word when he raves about it, I think it's a waste of time and space.
Anyway, I'm pleased to hear that I'm not the only one, as Apple sales of the iPad were extremely disappointing with the release of their newest iPad which has Wi-Fi and 3G capabilities. Only 300,000 sold in the first three days with 55 days of pre-orders. The original iPad which offered only Wi-Fi sold that many in its first day with 22 days of pre-orders.
So I say, Apple, I hope you learned your lesson. Focus what's working for you and make me a new bad ass iPhone. I'll rave about it if you give me a free one. That's a lie, you'll probably just never hear from me again because I'll be too busy playing Plants Vs. Zombies from my free new iPhone.
