Here is yet another story that has left me speechless and disturbed. 72 year old Pearl Carter is in love with her 26 year old grandson. If you're as disgusted as I am, I have good news. All of this is ok because Pearl put her daughter, her grandson/lover's mother, up for adoption when she was 18. She never met her grandson until her daughter died and he went in search of his mother's biological family. Oh, wait, that doesn't make it better AT ALL.
Upon meeting her grandson for the first time, Pearl states, "From the first moment I saw him, I knew we would never have a grandmother-grandson relationship. For the first time in years, I felt sexually alive."
...WHY, PEARL? Why would you warp my brain like this forever? I'm all for doing whatever makes you happy (not really, but I'm going to say that I am for the sake of appearing tolerant), but please, for the love of all that is beautiful, keep it to yourself.
