WELCOME TO THE TELLY CINEMA
The cinema experience has a certain charm to it.
It also has snotty strangers, over zealous air-conditioning and the terrifying possibility of sitting behind a tall and/or noisy person.
To truly appreciate a film, bring it home in your hot little hands and wack it in the DVD player. You can choose the company, the seating arrangements and the lighting.
Over the years I have welcomed celebrity after celebrity into my loungeroom, enjoying their visit to my telly infinitely more than lining up for tickets and popcorn at the cinema. Here I will review and discuss anything on DVD; new release movies, oldies but goodies, television shows, comedies, dramas, thrillers...
This is an open invitation to drop by the Telly Cinema, where I will sift through the hoards of promising DVDs and make your next stop at the video store much easier.
Reviews to come: Boston Legal, King of Kong, Eagle vs Shark, Flight of the Conchords, Bill Bailey
